It was held in the San Francisco Bay Area, the sixth to be held in the state of California in open air venue. WrestleMania 31 presented pro struggling suits that engaged wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and story lines that performed out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers represented heroes or villains as they followed a sequence of activities that built stress and culminated in a struggling coordinate or sequence of suits.
