It is commonly known as P2P sharing which is peer to peer. Peer is a downloader who is downloading file. A host is a Computer-machine that can offer a file for download to others using its internet connection. So even the Computers of downloaders (Peers) can become a host of the files as they too have internet connections & that file. Downloading of a file is done from a host which can be Cloud-Computers as well as other Peers who have this file on their Computer. When you download file and download completes then the seeding starts and after that you became a seeder and peer too. But if you just download file then you are counted in leecher.
Trackers are Different Cloud Computers offering that file which you want to download.
